As of January 1, 2024, the City of Newnan adopted a new ordinance granting authority to the court to work directly with Georgia Department of Community Supervision, Misdemeanor Probation Oversight Unit, providing general probation services as an inner-governmental entity.  Therefore, probation services are now offered in person at the Public Safety Complex.  This allows the City of Newnan to better serve our citizens with a more focused approach, solely on Newnan Municipal Court and its defendants.

If you are currently sentenced to probation, please report on your scheduled date and time.  All fines and fees must be paid directly to probation.  The Municipal Court is not able to accept probation payments.
