Mark Johnston is the Facilities Maintenance Director for the City of Newnan. HE was born in Atlanta Georgia but grew up in Pascagoula, Mississippi. His family moved back to the Atlanta area in the early 1980’s. He graduated from Fayette Christion School in Fayetteville, Georgia in 1987. From there, he went into the United States Air Force, where he served at Fairchild AFB in Spokane, Washington from 1988 to 1991. In the years that followed, he was blessed with four children that he's extremely proud of. Having started his pursuit for higher education in the Military, he recently graduated from West Georgia Technical College with a Degree in Business Management. It certainly has been put to good use, now in his 10th year with the City.  His wife and he live on a farm in Carroll County with their 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 8 chickens. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, hunting, or anything that allows him to be on a tractor. He feels blessed to work with some incredible people in a wonderful community.
