Originally from Homer/Cortland, NY, Anthony Urda attended the State University of New York (SUNY) at Potsdam. After earning his B.A. in Theatre, he worked as a substitute teacher for the Homer and McGraw, NY school districts before moving to the state of Georgia in 2018. Pursuing his passion for film and the stage, he worked as a background actor for several film and television productions around the greater Atlanta, GA area. He has worked in such film and television productions as: AMC's The Walking Dead, Jumanji: The Next Level, DC's Stargirl, DC's Doom Patrol, Watchmen, Marvel's WandaVision, Netflix's Teenage Bounty Hunters, Fox TV's Star, Netflix's Cobra Kai, CBS's Dynasty, Netflix's Insatiable, The Conjuring 3, and more. Anthony's first time in Newnan was on the set of Watchmen. In 2020, he was given the chance to work as the Adult Event programmer at the Newnan Carnegie Library. After working there for two years, he applied and was given the opportunity to serve as the Communications Coordinator for the City of Newnan in 2022. Anthony enjoys running, watching and collecting movies, cooking, reading stageplays by Irish playwrights, and spending time with his wife, actress Faina Khibkin.
