Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Hasco Craver IV moved to Georgia to attend the University of Georgia. After earning a B.A. in History and a M.A. from the Department of Public Administration and Policy, he served as the Executive Director of the Commerce Downtown Development Authority. Thereafter, he joined the Northeast Georgia Regional Commission as a Community and Economic Development Project Manager. His family and he moved to Newnan in 2011 upon his appointment as the Business Development Director. In 2016, he was given an opportunity to serve as the City’s Assistant City Manager. He thoroughly enjoys his time supporting the City’s numerous departments and programs as they each provide exemplary service to citizens and visitors alike. He is an avid runner, who enjoys engaging the community through philanthropic service. His wife, Rebecca, is a fourth grade classroom teacher at Elm Street Elementary School. They have two children, Adeline and William.
