On February 17, 2023 at 10:55 p.m. the Newnan Police Department was dispatched to the area of 22 Cliff Circle in reference to a person being shot.  Upon arrival, police located a white male with a possible gunshot wound to the chest and officers began providing medical treatment until EMS arrived. The male subject was later pronounced deceased.
