On February 17, 2023 at 10:55 p.m. the Newnan Police Department was dispatched to the area of 22 Cliff Circle in reference to a person being shot.  Upon arrival, police located a white male with a possible gunshot wound to the chest and officers began providing medical treatment until EMS arrived. The male subject was later pronounced deceased. Subject has been identified as Dustin Scott Parrott, 32, of Tyrone, GA.
