The City of Newnan is proud to announce a series of comprehensive improvements to Lynch Park, reinforcing our commitment to providing high-quality recreational spaces for Newnan residents. These enhancements include significantly expanded parking, modernized drainage systems, and a brand-new gazebo.
Present at the recent ribbon cutting were Mayor James Shepherd, City Council Members Scott Berta and Jennifer Morrison, City Manager Cleatus Phillips, Assistant City Managers Hasco Craver and Meg Kelsey, City Landscape Architect Mike Furbush, as well as community partners Heath Teaster with Piedmont Paving, Jalen Johnson with Comprehensive Program Services, and Roger Grant with Columbia Engineering. Mayor Shepherd thanked the citizens for supporting SPLOST and the City Council for approving the improvements.
