West Georgia Technical College and Piedmont Newnan Hospital, in collaboration with several state and local agencies, will conduct a large-scale mass casualty training exercise today, October 11, 2024. The exercise will take place at West Georgia Technical College’s Coweta Campus and Piedmont Newnan Hospital from 6:30AM – 12:00PM.

Road Closure and Safety Information:

• Campus Drive: Closed to through traffic for the entirety of the exercise.

Please expect an increased presence of emergency vehicles and personnel in the area. This is a planned exercise for training purposes only. There is NO actual threat to public safety.

We ask the public to avoid the affected areas during this time.
