City of Newnan Administrative Offices will be CLOSED Friday, September 27. City Police, Fire, Public Works, and essential personnel will continue to serve our City. Please follow us on social media for updates. 

The City of Newnan officials and staff are committed to your safety. We are currently monitoring the progress of the hurricane and preparing to respond to the needs of the community. Please remember:

1. Sign up for Coweta County emergency alerts and notifications and stay connected. 
2. Follow Newnan Utilities or Coweta-Fayette EMC on Facebook for the latest information in the event of a power outage. @NewnanUtilitiesGA or @CowetaFayetteEMC
3. Charge all electronic devices and backup batteries.
4. Check your safety kit (bottled water, batteries, flashlight, first aid supplies, medications). 
5. Please stay home and off the roads. It is challenging for Public Safety to respond to emergency situations when unnecessary traffic is present.
