The City of Newnan Fire Department today received a new Rescue Unit. In addition to providing less strain on station resources, the Rescue Unit allows other apparatus to stay available for emergencies. The new Rescue Unit will also enable our local first responders to deploy quickly to medical calls. Chief Brown stated, “This new Rescue Unit has all the equipment needed for rescue situations and first responder medical emergencies. The light tower on the top adds significant visibility to night calls and will help us keep our first responders and community safe.”
